Directions to the Family Resource Network Office
Our address is 123 South Broad (23rd floor), which is two
blocks south of City Hall. So if you can find City Hall, you can find 123 S.
Broad Street. The intersections nearest to our building are Broad and Sansom
Street on one end of the block, and Broad and Walnut Street at the other end. To get here by public transportation: The corner of Broad and Chestnut Street is one block north and the corner of Broad and Walnut Street is at the south corner of 123 S. Broad and is accessible to each mode of transportation in the SEPTA System. By Bus: Rt.#9, #17, #21, #27, #31, #32, #33, #38, #42, #44, #48, and #76. By Trolley: Rt.10, #11, #13, #34, and #36. more detailed directions
click here. Starting from going south on the Schuylkill: 1. Several exits after the Zoo exit, and soon after you pass the Spring Garden exit, exit LEFT onto the Vine Street Expwy. 2. Once you are on the Vine St. Expwy, move over to your RIGHT. 3. The first or second exit that you come to, in about 1/2 mile or so, is for 15th Street. Take the 15th Street exit to your RIGHT. 4. You are now on 15th street heading south. Go through several lights. City Hall will come into view. There is a street that loops around city hall to your left called South Penn Square (don't know if there's a visible sign). As you pass City Hall, bear LEFT--don't continue down 15th Street. Instead, you want to go around City Hall counter-clockwise for just a little bit. 5. In a couple hundred feet, take your first RIGHT onto South Broad Street. If you miss the turn onto South Broad, don't worry--you can keep looping around City Hall until you make it, like Chevy Chase in European Vacation. 6. Our building is at 123 South Broad St, two blocks after you turn onto S. Broad. It will be on your LEFT and the building is called the Wachovia Building. However, you can't turn left for several streets. So--you can either turn right to hunt for a parking garage, or you can follow the instructions below to get to the garage I use.
PARKING: Parking is almost all in the form of garages, and metered parking spaces are rare and two hours or less in the area. The closest garage is probably the one on Locust St. between Broad and Juniper streets (Juniper is the first street east of Broad as you go down Locust [which is one-way]). However, there is a garage on every other block or so in this area. If you want to use another garage, here is a website that has some garage addresses and a map: Philadelphia Parking |
