HOPE FAMILY NIGHT May 20th 2009
The COMHAR HOPE program celebrated
Family Night and Mental Health Awareness on
Wednesday evening May 20th.
Approximately 90 HOPE members, family, friends, and staff
participated in the
event. Altogether, there were 10 families who attended.
Gary Schoenberg, Continuing Care Director, welcomed everyone. A member from each
of
the HOPE programs shared their recovery stories.
Kathleen Cantwell, Coordinator of the Family Resource Network shared that she
had a
family member in recovery and also provided excellent information on
family resources
that included support groups, workshops, and trainings.
Danny Del Orbe, Director of the HOPE Latino Program shared about his
enthusiasm
for members who are involved in recovery and his appreciation of the
families.
Suzan Schwarz, Director of HOPE Allegheny Ave. gave out certificates and
recognitions
to all the HOPE members and their families for attending the event.
